Featuring Pearl's mother, Mother-of-Pearl, this painting honours a 70th birthday. Mother-of-Pearl has borrowed the celebrant's purple ball gown, mobile phone, and Radley handbag. The film, British Intelligence, was another product of 1940. The movie start time seemed a good place to reveal her age.
