An original painting can be an ideal gift for someone's birthday or anniversary. In the five examples below, see how Pearl, Edmund, and other characters, can represent a milestone birthday or special occasion. It's easy and fun to commission a Wildago painting ... more.

PERFUME PEARL by Wildago

40

PERFUME PEARL

While Pearl would never reveal her age, she doesn't mind celebrating a 40th milestone birthday. In this painting, Pearl has borrowed a Radley handbag, some perfume, and a bottle of Pimm's from the birthday celebrant.

EDMUND ON CUE

Somewhere in Nova Scotia a man who plays a lot of pool will turn 60 this year and he will receive this original painting of Edmund in his polka dot boxers, right on cue! He may notice that Edmund is wearing his favourite old shoes and has pinched his coffee mug. Will he notice the new number on the eight ball too?

50

BREAKER PETE

This is not a character from Pearl and Friends, rather it represents a man who owns a breaker yard as he turns 50. In this case, there wasn't a photo to work from. The only information provided was that "Pete" has short blond-grey hair and often wears a dark blue t-shirt and jeans. Oh, and he has a big smile and rosy cheeks! (Someone paid a lot of money for that vanity license plate.)

MILESTONE EDMUND

Another 60th birthday surprise. This time Edmund has borrowed the recipient's paisley buff, red jersey, blue rucksack, and boots with "very long laces" according to his wife. Of course the shorts belong to Edmund! One of his favourite activities is hiking in the English countryside.

BRITISH INTELLIGENCE

Featuring Pearl's mother,
Mother-of-Pearl, this painting honours a 70th birthday. Mother-of-Pearl has borrowed the celebrant's purple ball gown, mobile phone, and Radley handbag. The film, British Intelligence, was another product of 1940. The movie start time seemed a good place to reveal her age.
