Edmund's 2nd Birthday

In November 2008 Edmund came to life on canvas and has been keeping himself very busy ever since. Besides Todd the dog, Edmund has made many friends and now he wants to share some cake and stories with them. Although he still hasn't met Pearl, she has contributed a case of her favourite pink cava (because she thinks the party is for her).

Gusto

A solo exhibition featuring characters from the painted world of Wildago will be hosted at Gusto Newcastle from
12 June until 23 July, not far from the Millenium Bridge. In her Newcastle debut, Wilda Goyetche introduces some fun-loving characters to the North East. To honour the occasion, Pearl has climbed the Angel of the North to pose for a portrait. Angel Pearl (left) has just been released as a signed limited edition print.

Garden Party

A garden party fundraiser was hosted by Pete and Irene, 2 of 23 riders who cycled from Glasgow to Sheffield over five days in June. Proceeds from ride sponsorship and garden party sales go to the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and Neurocare. Wildago was a corporate sponsor for the Danny Porter Foundation, organisers of the ride.

On the left, Jaimie, daughter of one the cyclists, has created her own version of Wildago's "Edmund Grooms" painting.

Pearly Girly Birthday Bash

To celebrate Pearl's second birthday and to thank the wonderful women of Sheffield who have supported Pearl and Friends, a social evening was held in the artist's home. French Pearl cocktails were served alongside sweets, savouries and Pearl's favourite pink cava.

Perhaps this will become an annual event!
