There have been times when Pearl was commissioned to represent a real person, which is part of her appeal. (She can be any one of us!) Here she is making the most of being stranded at an airport. The departure board shows actual flights made by the glamorous, globe-trotting collector who commissioned me. The original painting was in New York and now is in Minnesota.
